warning: requires ‘bgp’ license
This is letting you know that the Juniper device requires a special license for certain features. At the time of this post the going rate for a license for one 24-port EX4200 for one year is $2500 USD. I was told that it’s an error you can just ignore and can continue to use BGP functionality. I tested it out with some old routers around the office and indeed BGP was able to exchange routes in both directions and I didn’t encounter any limited functionality. Let it be noted that the person who told me I could ignore the error also advised me that it’s technically stealing.
